Fantasy Index Magazine "Ask the Expert" Question: How much stock do you place in concerns about players mailing it in during late-season games?

How much (if any) stock do you place in concerns about players mailing it in during late-season games? Do worries about teams "quitting" affect your rankings?

I do not worry about players giving up during late season games. They are professionals and if nothing else should be trying for the best stats for their next contract negotiation. Some may take plays off but those players will do so whenever during the season, not just at the end. My rankings are more likely to reflect a downgrade for a player on a team that will clinch early and rest star players (think IND the past few years).
