The FFPC Main Event prize structure is once again being increased at EVERY LEVEL: grand prize, championship round prizes and league prize.
The Grand Prize is going from $200,000 to $250,000, or a quarter of a million dollars. The Championship round prize structure is also increasing by a substantial amount with an additional $72,000 in guaranteed prizes. There is now over $400,000 in guaranteed prizes in the FFPC Main Event Championship round which will now pay down to 40th place. 2nd place is now up to $30,000, 3rd place moves up to $15,000 along with substantial other increases.

Main Event league prizes are increasing from $10,500 per league up to $11,000. This will set yet another industry-record by the FFPC for the largest league prize in the history of high stakes fantasy football contest. Let's take a look at these league prizes in the context of the Early Bird pricing which is $1550 per team and $1450 for additional teams. For those who register early and take advantage of the early bird, the percentage of league payouts are an astounding 60% at the $1550 entry fee! If you pick up a second team at $1450, the league payouts are an even more amazing 63% of the total entry fees collected. That is another high stakes record for the highest-ever percentage of entry fees paid out as league prizes. Keep in mind, all that is needed to reserve your team now is a simple $200 deposit. |
The $11,000 Main Event league prize distribution has been revamped ever so slightly to offer another way to award the more successful teams while keeping a well balanced prize structure at the league level. A total of $5,000 is awarded to the 1-seed & 2-seeds for the regular season performance (Weeks 1-11) with the following breakdown:
**If there is no winner of the $1,000 "Sweep" Bonus, both the 1-Seed and 2-Seed teams will split the $1,000 for a total regular season prize of $2,500 each.
The remaining $6,000 is awarded in the league playoffs in weeks 12 and 13. Here are those prizes:

The 2013 FFPC Main Event will be held at a Las Vegas strip venue. And it is not the Riviera! |
Baseball fans, don't miss this! The inaugural Fantasy Baseball Players Championship (FBPC). The FBPC is now close to 90 teams registered for the inaugural fantasy baseball season. The FBPC Grand Prize is $50,000 and League Prizes are $10,000 per 14 team league. The prize structure is based on just 140 teams, and the payout percentage is excellent! Take a look at the FBPC web site for full rules, scoring and draft dates. All drafts are online. The FBPC Main Event entry fee is $1500.
I have already entered in one of the FBPC satellite leagues ($150), in fact the first, called the First Pitch League.
