Ask the Expert Question: Who is this season's most disappointing player? Why?

Who is this season's most disappointing player? Why?

Ok throw away the obvious injury disasters-Jamaal Charles, Le'Veon Bell, Arian Foster, Marshawn Lynch, Andrew Luck and Jimmy Graham from the first round, the question is who has not been injured and just plain sucks? Alfred Morris and Melvin Gordon that's who. But there is another who should be considered, someone who went even earlier in drafts this year. A third rounder that none can argue did not let everyone who drafted him down. That player is Joseph Randle. What a huge, steaming pile of disappointment.

ASK THE EXPERTS appears weekly at http://www.fantasyindex.com/ with answers to a new question posted Thursday morning.

Sam Hendricks is the author of Fantasy Football Guidebook, Fantasy Football Tips and Fantasy Football Basics , all available at http://www.ExtraPointPress.com/, at all major bookstores, and at http://www.amazon.com/ and www.BN.com. He is a 20+ year fantasy football veteran who regularly participates in the National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC), Fantasy Football World Championship (FFWC) and finished 7th and 16th overall (out of 228 top players) in the 2008 and 2009 Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC). He won the Fantasy Index Open in 2013.

FFGuidebook.com Week 13 Results

I am in 13 leagues-7 active and 6 Draft Masters.

In the draft masters and total points leagues I give myself a win if I outscore half of the teams in the league. Some leagues are all play (AP).

Pretty poor actually. 5-8 for the week. Leading up to week 13-a critical week for the playoff push-I had three straight weeks of above .500 FF with a 23-16 record….then week 13 happened.

Week 13 Results:
Fantasy Index Experts League (AP) Loss 83-60 (All Play) 5th
Fantasy Index Auction Experts League Win 47-92-4 12th (Jumped up to 11th place)
Pro Forecast Magazine PPR Experts League Loss 8-5 4th place (In the playoffs this week!)
Pro Forecast Magazine Standard (Non-PPR)Expert League Loss 6-7 8th place (Top 4 make playoffs after week 14-so time to make run)
Pros vs Joes Contest (Sponsored by FFPC) Win 10-3 4th place
SFB360 Invitational Loss in conference playoffs, now in divisional playoffs  (7-5 4th place)
Fantasy Sports Writers Association League Win 3-10 12th place (-playing the spoiler, three wins in a row over top teams)
FFPC $250 Classic Loss 5-8 12th place (losing Jamaal Charles crushes this team)
FFPC $35 Classic Loss 9-4 3rd place (In playoffs starting week 14, missed bye for #2 seed)
FPC $35 DM #1915 Win 9-4 4th place (big jump from 7th to 4th
FPC $35 DM # 2083 Loss 6-7 6th place
FPC $35 DM #2068 Loss 5-8 6th place
Local League Win 8-5 2nd place

For the week: 5-8
For the Season: 88-81 (.521) (not much above .500 but I am playing in quite a few expert leagues with the best of the best)
