Fantasy Football Players Championship Offer $35 and $77 Classic Drafts

The Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) is now offering lower priced satellite leagues. This year they are offering their FFPC satellite leagues at the $35 and $77 entry levels. The $35 leagues are called the Footballguys Players Championship (FPC) satellite and have a tie with them since the only prize is an entry into the FPC event worth $350.

Here are the details of both:
-12 team leagues
-20 round serpentine draft
-13 week regular season based on Total Points
-6 teams make playoffs
-H2H single elimination playoffs in weeks 14-16 (#1 and #2 seeds get bye in week 14)
-weekly team management (NOT Draft Experts or "draft and forget" format)
-Blind bidding for waivers

Prizes
$35 FPC-2016 Entry into Footballguys Players Championship worth $350 or $300 cash
(ROI of 83.33% or 71.4% if take the cash)

$77 Classic League-1st place $500 and 2nd place $225
(ROI of 78.46%)

The leagues are only available as slow drafts with a 10 hour timer but I expect live online drafts will be available soon.

FFPC is back for 2015

The Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) is once again offering $100 off a 2015 Main Event team entry (Just $1.650 vice $1,750). An additional team is discounted $250 (so $1,500).

These are the lowest prices of the year. I have watched them operate every year since their inception. They offer a early bird discount and additional team discount but that is about it. They fill up. They are one of the most popular High Stakes Leagues around. So $1,500 to $1,750 is what you are going to get. Grab a team now!

Lock a team in now with a simple $200 deposit. Joining now also puts you in the drawing for one of the slots in the Pros vs Joes competition. I have been honored to play in the PvJ as a Pro every year since it started. I even won my league one year. Prizes this year for winning your Pros vs Joes League will be a 2016 FFPC Main Event entry.

Quick review:
Normal 2015 Main Event Entry $1,750
Early Bird 2015 Main Event Entry $1,650
Additional Main Event Teams $1,500

I almost forgot to mention the prizes….

1st Overall is $300,000
Each league has $11,000 in prizes

What are you waiting for? $1,650 gets you in today.

Pros vs Joes Competition

The Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) is once again
hosting the Pros vs Joes Competion. The FFPC is again offering a 2015 Main Event team entry (valued at $1,750) to each winner of the 6  PvJ Leagues. That is over $10,000 in prizes for this great contest. And the best part is that it is free.

Unfortunately spaces are limited to just 36 Pros and 36 Joes. The Pros are selected by the FFPC and FantasyMojo.com. I have been honored to be a participant as a Joe for each of the seven years since 2009 that the Pros vs Joes contest has run. I only hope I am selected again this year to compete. I won my league a few years ago.

The Joes will be chosen by a lottery system. To be entered in the lottery simply be registered for a 2015 FFPC Main Event team before the Early Bird deadline of 4 May. You will even get a $100 discount on your team by registering before 4 May.

Here is the FFPC Scoring system used in the Pros vs Joes:

  • Starting roster: 1-QB, 2-RB, 2-WR, 1-TE, 1-K, 1-D/ST and 2-Flex Players (RB/WR/TE)
  • 4 pts for passing TDs, 6 pts for all other TDs
  • 1 pt for every 20 yards passing
  • -1 point for every interception thrown
  • 1 point for every 10 yards rushing or receiving
  • 1 pt per reception for RBs and WRs
  • 1 .5 pt per reception for TEs
  • 2 points for 2-pt conversion
  • 1 point for PAT conversion
  • 3 points for every FG of 30 yards plus .1 point for every yard thereafter
  • 1 pt for D/ST sack, 2 pts for all turnovers
  • 6 pts for all D/ST touchdowns
  • 5 pts for every safety
  • 12 points for every shutout
  • 8 points for allowing between 1 – 6 points
  • 5 points for allowing between 7 – 10 points

Footballguys Players Championship (FPC) is taking signups!

The Footballguys Players Championship (FPC) has begun taking signups!

First let me add a disclaimer. I won in one of the FPC leagues last year-Won the whole thing in fact. $1500 in cash. I could have gone with a Fantasy Football Players Championship Main Event team for 2015 (worth $1,750) but I decided to take the money and wait to join the FFPC later. I also placed in the money in the Championship round and won a Lifetimes Subscription to Footballguys.com
What a great contest!!!!!!

Anyway…the FPC is now taking signups. Entry is just $350 or 3 teams for $1,000.

Once again they are offering $2 Million in Prize Money including a best-ever $300,000 Grand Prize! And payouts down to 650th place.
League prizes are $1,500 and $500

Drafts begin July 4th and run through September 10th.
Rules, scoring and format are like the FFPC.

Sign-up today. I have played every year since the FPC started. And I hope to play again this year. See ya there!
