The FFPC has recently announced their prize structure for 2014 and they have upped the Grand prize to $300,000! This brings the total prize pool to over 2 Million as they pay out the top 80 overall finishers.
- $2,000,000 prize pool
- $300,000 grand prize
- $11,000 league prizes
- Championship round payouts down to 80th place
- Hard cap on number of entries
- The entire prize pool is fully protected in an industry-exclusive attorney escrow account.
- Newly added draft times on September 5th and 6th, 2014.
- Live events to be held at Caesars Palace Resort & Casino, Las Vegas
The $2 million prize pool is the largest ever offered for a season-long contest, dwarfing last year’s prize pool. The $300,000 grand prize is an increase of $50,000 from 2013. They now pay down to a whopping 80th place--that’s 40 new spots paid. They added almost $100,000 in new guaranteed prizes in the championship & consolation round prizes. Also for the first time in their history, they are introducing a hard cap on entries that will not be exceeded. All prizes will again be fully protected as the FFPC is the only contest to place its entire prize pool in escrow. They have expanded from eight to 12 different live and online draft times, all after the Thursday NFL game. And for the sixth year, they are back in legendary Caesars Palace, right in the heart of the Las Vegas strip.
Once again, the annual FFPC Main Event Early Bird Promotion begins now. Early bird pricing is discounted $100 down to $1600 per team. Additional teams are discounted $200 to $1500. These will be the lowest prices of the year to enter this event. All players need to do to lock in their teams is a simple $200 deposit.
