17 Days Until the 2015 NFL Draft…My Predictions Are Here

17 days to go until the NFL Draft which kicks off (excuse the pun) on Thursday night April 30th. Here is what I am predicting for the first round picks in the NFL Draft. I have included what I think are the drafting teams needs and who they will pick.

Note I think Chip Kelly pulls the trigger in a trade with TEN and sends them Sam Bradford and something else and gets their #2 pick.

1) TB-QB, OL, pass rusher (Jameis Winston QB FSU)
2) PHI (traded w TEN)(PHI-S, OLB, CB)(Marcus Mariota QB Orgeon)
3) JAX-OT, CB, RB (Leonard Williams DE USC) (Best player on the board here)
4) OAK-OLB, WR, CB -(Amari Cooper WR ALA) Another WR experiment for OAK. I think Kevin White will be better career wise so the Raiders miss again.
5) WAS-DB, OT, pass rusher (Brandon Scherff OT Iowa) Gregory would have gone here but his failed drug test sours the Skins. Scherff can play any OL position.
6) NYJ-QB, CB, OT (Trae Waynes CB MSU) Filling a need

7) CHI-(DL, LB, DB, WR) (Kevin White-WR WVA) Steal of the draft-loss of B. Marshall makes this a no-brainer and have added some defensive help in FA
8) ATL-TE, OLB, DB (Dante Fowler Jr. OLB Florida)

9) NYG-OLB ILB, OL (Shane Ray OLB Missouri)
10) STL-CB, RB, QB? (Melvin Gordon RB WIS) Reach but they need a RB to go with and help Nick Foles
11) MIN-OT, CB, RB (DeVante Parker WR Lousville)
12) CLE-WR, ILB, OL (Vic Beasley-OLB Clemson)
13) NO-CB, OLB, QB? (Marcus Peters CB WAS)
14) MIA-LB, OT, CB (Randy Gregory LB NEB) Gregory falls a bit but teams need a pass rusher.
15) SF-DL, OL, WR-Kevin Johnson CB WF
16 HOU-QB, WR, OT-Jaelen Strong WR ASU
17 SD-CB, NT, OL-Alvin Dupree DE KY
18 KC-WR, OT, CB-Dorial Green-Beckam WR Oklahoma And the WR class of 2015 is let out of the bottle as 4 of the first 18 are receivers. 7 of first 18 are fantasy worthy players-2 QB, 1 RB and 4 WR.
19 CLE-WR, ILB, OL-La'el Collins OL Two strong picks for the browns
20 TEN-QB, CB (from PHI in Trade) Ronald Derby CB FSU
21 CIN-CB, S, K Landon Collins S ALA
22 PIT-S, CB, DL Danny Shelton DT WAS
23 DET-CB, DL, PK Eddie Goldman DT FSU
24 AZ-DL, LB T. J. Clemmings T PIT
25 CAR-OLB, OT, CB Eli Harold OLB UVA
