I finished 5th overall out of 72 competitors. Remember the PvJ Challenge is made up of 36 Pros or Industry Professionals and 36 "Joes" who are Main Event competitors in the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC). Those 36 "Joes" come from the ranks of FFPC players who signed up for the FFPC Main Event before their early bird deadline thus earning them a shot at the lottery to play in the Pros vs Joes Challenge. Those "Joes" have won more divisions and Overall PvJ titles than the professionals. Suffice it to say they are a highly competitive group of individuals who play high stakes fantasy football and know their stuff.
My winning team had 10 straight weeks (6-16) of finishes in the top half of the league!
Here is my roster. Remember this is a Draft Experts (DE) event so no adds/drops or free agency during the season and no setting of lineups each week as the computer sets the perfect lineup based on how your players perform that week. It is truly a "draft and forget" format. The FFPC has DE leagues starting at $35 and going all the way up to $1,250 for live events in Las Vegas. This year the weekend is September 8-11, 2016.
