First Round 2017 NFL Draft Fantasy Analysis

First round is in the books and what a surprise it was.

7 of first 10 picks were QBs, RBs or WRs
4 of remaining 22 were .....1 QB and the first three TEs off the board.

First pick was Myles Garrett DE by CLEV-great pick! No brainer...if in doubt go with a steady defensive player. QBs and WRs are hit or miss, boom or bust, apples and oranges...you get the picture. Risky.

Then comes our first surprise Da Bears trading away a fortune to move up one position from 3rd to 2nd overall and why to draft QB Mike Trubisky. Sure he may be the best QB available this draft or he may be 3rd or 4th best. Depends on who you talk to. BUT HE ONLY STARTED 13 games. And CHICAGO just gave Mike Glennon a 3yr $45M deal. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm?
Glennon could be gone after 2017 so Trubisky may be holding the clip board for a few games this year or not.....

Leonard Fournette RB is being compared to AP and he went to JAX. Hopefully Bortles takes a step forward.

TEN with the 5th pick took Corey Davis WR whom many believe is he best WR this class.

7 LA Chargers just does not sound right. They took Mike Williams who I think is the best WR this class. Great RZ threat.

Carolina at 8 gets Christian McCaffrey. Love this pick. Jonathan Stewart dynasty owners beware.

9 CIN WR John Ross. Injury history....hmmmmm

10 KC trades up from 27 to 10 to get QB Patrick Mahomet. He is the clipboard holder for 2017-Alex Smith has just 2 years left on his contract.

12 Houston moves up to draft QB Deshaun Watson...Boom or bust guy.

Three TEs are the only offensive FF studs to go in rest of round.

19 TB-TE O.J. Howard

23 NYG-TE Evan Engram (bit of a reach for the Giants...they always seem to do this)

29 CLEV-TE David Njokuu-

Alas no Dalvin Cook RB
