Pro Forecast Fantasy Football Magazine PPR Mock Draft Team

Drafted in the Pro Forecast Fantasy Football magazine PPR  league from the 9th spot last week. Here is my team and after that my thoughts on my players.

1. Matt Forte RB - CHI
2. Demaryius Thomas WR - DEN
3. Jimmy Graham TE - SEA
4. Carlos Hyde RB - SF
5. Peyton Manning QB - DEN
6. Vincent Jackson WR - TB
7. Darren McFadden RB - DAL
8. Larry Fitzgerald WR - ARI
9. Victor Cruz WR - NYG
10. Chris Ivory RB - NYJ
11. Reggie Bush RB - SF
12. Kenny Stills WR - MIA
13. Cordarrelle Patterson WR - MIN
14. Dorial Green-Beckham WR - TEN

1. Matt Forte RB – CHI Forte is outstanding value in PPR at 9th overall. He is my 3rdRB overall. Look for 1700 combined yards, 10 TDs and 65 receptions. Nearly 300 FPs!
2. Demaryius Thomas WR – DEN 2nd best WR (next to Antonio Brown). I started a RB run with the Forte pick that leads to value with a WR here. 100 catches, 1500 yards and 10 TDs. 310 FPs.
3. Jimmy Graham TE – SEA It was going to be Andrew Luck or Jimmy Graham. Graham should flourish in SEA as the go-to-guy for Russell Wilson. Another value pick. 70/900/10.
4. Carlos Hyde RB – SF I honestly debated taking Hyde last round and hoped he would fall here. 1000 yards, 8 TDs and another 150 yards and 2 TDs on 25 catches. 13th best RB.
5. Peyton Manning QB – DEN My QB3 in the 5th round! I worry about the beating he took in the second half of the season, but hope the new offensive scheme protects him more.
6. Vincent Jackson WR – TB I need WR help. VJax is overshadowed now by Mike Evans but Jameis Winston should give him the big play-TD producing numbers of old. Top 25 WR in my book.
7. Darren McFadden RB – DAL RBs are dwindling. Time to swing for the fences. Running behind the best offensive line in the NFL can increase your YPC (3.3). Randle and McFadden will be RBBC all year.
8. Larry Fitzgerald WR – ARI Top 30 WR in the 8th round! LF will make his numbers in catches as he is mainly a possession receiver these days. A full year of Palmer at QB could mean 75/900/6.
9. Victor Cruz WR – NYG Time to double up, to catch up, on WRs. Lots of risk/reward. He is coming off injury but will face more single man coverage and lesser DBs as OBJ takes over the #1 WR spot.
10. Chris Ivory RB – NYJ The Jets will run and run and run. There will be a ton of carries to go around and Ivory could see the bulk of them if he can stay healthy. Another long shot.
11. Reggie Bush RB – SF Handcuff for Carlos Hyde-plain and simple. 35 catches, 650 combined yards and 6 TDs at best unless Hyde goes down. He needs to get into space and SF may not provide the chance.
12. Kenny Stills WR – MIA At age 23 this will be his third year and second team. Could be the WR1 in Miami but there are a ton of mouths to feed there. Best shot is 60/1000/8.
13. Cordarrelle Patterson WR – MIN My favorite sleeper candidate. Tons of talent. Had a sophomore slump but is working hard in off-season. Doing the right things for a comeback.
14. Dorial Green-Beckham WR – TEN The Titans are not really loaded with WR talent. DGB could make an impact immediately especially if he finds the end zone often. He is another high risk/high reward 14th round pick.
