Sam Hendricks, author of Fantasy Football Guidebook places 10th in Fantasy Index RB rankings competition; but drops to 12th overall?

Christopher Harris of ESPN is emerging as a contender to win the Fantasy
Index Experts Poll. Harris has won the running backs portion of the poll,
moving him up to No. 2 in the overall standings with one position
(quarterbacks) left to be graded.

In the complex scoring system (where every pick is awarded points in varying
degrees), Harris separated himself from the back by ranking Brian Westbrook
lower than anybody and putting Chris Johnson up at No. 4 higher than all
but one other expert.

Louis Tranquilli (BFD Fantasy Football) finished 2nd in this category,
largely because he ranked Johnson higher than anybody. And David Dorey (The
Huddle) and Kevin Marshall (Draftwizard.com) placed highly again after doing
well at wide receiver.

But can anybody catch James Serra of First Place Sports Software? With only
one position left, he's still got a lead of almost 800 points. Harris is
currently in 2nd, followed by Scott Pianowski (Yahoo! Sports), Dorey and
Marshall.

When the scoring is done for all six positions, the top 11 finishers will
win spots in our Mock Draft league (with the No. 1 finisher getting to
choose where he would like to select). Fantasy Index always put a Fantasy Index reader in the league too.

Running backs are scored on the system of 1 point for every 10 run-rec yards
and 6 points for touchdowns on runs, catches and returns. In addition,
Ronnie Brown earned 4 points for a TD pass and there were a few 2-point
conversions.
