Some of you may know this but I am playing in several fantasy baseball leagues again this year including the Fantasy Sports Writers Associations Insiders League and a league in the National Fantasy Baseball Championship (NFBC). I wanted to give you a review of a new website/application for fantasy sports that I have begun using for this baseball season (although it is going to be great for FF too). It is called “PICKEMFIRST” (http://app.pickemfirst.com/) and is billed as the ultimate fantasy sports assistant. And I tend to agree.
The application (software that runs while you are on the internet with your browser) seeks out references to your players and then points them out to you with an icon. It interfaces with CBSSportsline, ESPN, Yahoo, NFL.com, rotowire and even myfantasyleagues.
It is quite painless letting it know who you own. You just paste in your link for the league and it downloads all your roster players and even updates it as well. What could be easier?
Then just sit back and watch as your assistant flags all of your player’s news items on every web page you view.
This could revolutionize the way some of the premium sites aggregate their information.
