Chance to play me in NFFC satellite league-Aug 28 1 PM EST (14 teams need 5 more)

Want a chance to play against the author of Fantasy Football Guidebook?


Well you can play in the Fantasy Football Players Championship (FFPC) Main Event and you will kind of play me but not necessarily in the same league. There are over 550 signed up so the odds are stacked against you. I have not decided on the Main Event at the National Fantasy Football Championship (NFFC) yet, but those chances of being in the same league are long too.

I am in a NFFC 14-team league that is drafting online Sunday at 1 PM EST.
It is a NFFC satellite league that has a $125 entry fee and pays out to the top 3 finishers ($800, $250 and $125) plus an additional $125 to the overall H2H champ and total points champion after weeks 1-13. That is $1425 in prizes versus $1750 in entrance fees ($125 of which are yours). So a payout ratio (I am big on the payout ratio) of 81.4%. Pretty good for a low entry fee.

I like the NFFC because it offers third round reversal (3RR) and the Kentucky Derby System (KDS) for draft spot choices. 3RR reverses the 3rd round of the draft to help even out the field for the later draft spots. So instead of going 1-14 it goes 14-1 just like the second round did. That is great! In my opinion an equalizer (okay close to it) for having a late draft spot. KDS lets you put in order the draft spots you want. For example, I put down 3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,9,10,11,12,13,14 on one occasion because I did not like the top 2 players going in most drafts and decided I would gladly take the 3rd or 4th on my list while gaining a better 2nd and 3rd round spot (as opposed to drafting last in those rounds with 3RR). But I digress...

Anyway I and 8 others when last I looked are going to draft on Sunday 28 August at 1 PM EST in this Top 3 14 team league.
