QB Free Agency examined so far.
Hang on to your hats it has been a wild few days in the short 2011 NFL Season. Free agency has been accelerated and actions that normally might take weeks or months occurred in the past 5 days.
Here is a quick synopsis for QBs and the possible FF effects
QBs who moved
Kevin Kolb-Az (Upgrade Kolb and all AZ WRs especially Larry Fitz)
Donovan McNabb-MIN (I like McNabb as comeback player of the year with a big chip on his shoudler)
Matt Hasselbeck-TEN (With Chris Johnson to catch passes what is not to like, maybe Kenny Britt's attitude? 3 yr deal says something)
Tarvaris Jackson-SEA (He gets to start and has another chance, but still ends up being a VY clone)
Yince Young-PHI (backup only to Mike Vick, injuries could give him some PT, great handcuff for those Vick owners)
Bruce Gradkowski-CIN (Lions and Tigers and Bears oh my. Could easily be the week 1 starter for Bengals...oh my)
Carson Palmer-?????
Matt Moore-MIA (Should not beat Henne for QB1)
Tyler Thigpen-BUF (Who knows? Chan Gailey reunion)
QBs who stayed put
Alex Smith-SF (I will take a flyer on him as a QB2)
Rex Grossman-WAS (Him or John Beck neither should be drafted)
Senecca Wallace-CLE (9M is a lot for Colt McCoys backup)
Billy Volek-SD (Backup baby)
Mark Brunel-NYJ (And you thought Favre stayed too long)
Kyle Boller-OAK (The way back machine is still alive)
Drew Stanton-DET (With Staffords injury experience?)
Matt Leinart-HOU (Probably best staying in HOU)
Trent Edwards-OAK (Campbells backup)
Kellen Clemens-WAS (As if Beck vs Grossman was not enough)
David Carr-NYG (Like is circular sometimes)
