2 QB League FFGuidebook.com Team

Here is the FFGuidebook.com team from the recent FFMagicMan 2 QB Invitational Expert league.

Details
-12 teams
-start 2 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE and 1 Flex (R/W/T) no kickers or defenses
-It was 13 rounds so limited bench space.
-Scoring: PPR, 4 Pass TD, -2 INT/Fumbles

Thoughts:
-Since 2 QB start they went fast. 12 in first 3 rounds. 12 more in the next 3 rounds (24 thru rd 6). The 7th and 8th saw only 2 QB drafted both by the same team as he doubled up to catch up with Matt Schaub and Sam Bradford. 9/10 saw the remaining serviceable QB come off the board. The final 3 rounds (11-13) saw 6 lottery ticket QB drafted (Bridgewater, Bortles, Carr, Cassel, Hoyer and Osweiller).
-More TE were drafted (20) than I expected. One team even drafted 3 TE. 6 drafted 2 TE, 5 including myself went single TE.
-Only 11 RBs went in the first 3 rounds. Value could be had at the position. Reggie Bush in the 6th was a steal!

QB
Matt Ryan-ATL/9 (3.05) -I pondered Ryan in the 2nd rd but waited and got him in the 3rd. I have big expectations for him with a healthy pair in Roddy White and Julio Jones.

Eli Manning-NYG/8 (5.05)- I wanted Ryan Tannehill but he went two picks earlier to Dennis Esser (he stole quite a few of my picks).
Need Eli to have a huge comeback season and he could with the new WC scheme their OC runs. But he has not looked good in the preseason. On bright side he has easy schedule but his INT could kill me in this league (-2 pts)

Ryan Fitzpatrick-HOU/10 (9.05)-Was the equivalent of a QB 10 in 11 starts in 13' so I got that going for me. Great schedule as he faces division opponents and WAS, OAK and the NYG. Hoping a QBBC with him and Manning produces QB1 numbers.

RB

Adrian Peterson-MIN/10 (1.05) I wanted Peyton, Brees or Rodgers but they were drafted ahead of me. So I went with my homer pick of the Top 4 Stud RBs-AP. Norv Turner as OC means a ton more catches and points in this PPR league.

Marshawn Lynch-SEA/4 (2.08) I am going to be totally honest-I blew this one. I planned for AP in the 1st and then mocked to take Brandon Marshall in the 2nd to secure a stud WR. But 4 more QB flew off the board and I pondered pulling the trigger early on Matt Ryan my number 6 ranked QB. I decided to wait it out and try and get him in the third-it worked! But I could not find Marshall in the draft software player list (he was much lower than I ranked him) and so with 5 seconds left I took Lynch. Time will tell...

C.J. Spiller-BUF/9 (6.08) I wanted Spiller but Witten was still on the board starting the 6th. If J Witten had made it back to me I would have taken him, as it was Jennifer Millman made me choice easy when she took Witten. I am quite happy to have Spiller in the 6th as my flex player.

DeAngelo Williams-CAR/12 (11.05) A lottery ticket.

Shonn Greene-TEN/9 (13.05) I like him better than Williams to break into my lineup. Everyone has anointed Bishop Sankey as the TEN RB by default but until we see week 1 Greene has a chance to start.

WR

Andre Johnson-HOU/10 (4.08) I am going to stop taking him since I have him in so many of my leagues this year. I like the Fitzpatrick to Johnson connection better than what AJ had last year. I actually was hoping another Andre made it me, but Ellington was drafted five spots before me.

Kendall Wright-TEN/9 (7.05) DO NOT SLEEP on this guy! He had an insane amount of catches in 13'.

Mike Wallace-MIA/5 (8.08) #1 WR in MIA and the dolphins have figured out how to move him and get him open more.

Mike Evans-TB/7 (12.08) Love him as the #2 guy beside VJAX. The tall receiver is going to be better than Watkins this year. ROY possibility.

TE
Greg Olsen-CAR/12 (10.08) Best pick of the draft. I cannot believe Olsen was the 12 TE drafted. SHOCKED. Zach Ertz and Ladarius Green went in the 12th before Olsen. Don't get me wrong I love those guys too this year but not as much as Olsen since Cam has lost all of his WR.

Overall: I hate my team. I should have gone with Brandon Marshall in the 2nd, Zac Stacy in the 4th and then Larry Fitzgerald or Victor Cruz in the 5th passing on Eli and grabbing Sam Bradford in the 8th then Ryan Fitzpatrick in the 9th. Oh well. Time will tell.
