Sam Hendricks, aka FFGuidebook.com wins 2011 Pros versus Joes Division

I won my Pros versus Joes Division this year, besting 11 other fantasy football teams (5 other Professional FF players and 6 "Joes").

The 2011 FFPC Pros vs Joes Draft Challenge concept is simple. Take a group of hard core FFPC fantasy players (the Joes) and pit them against a contingent of fantasy industry experts (the Pros).  The overall field is divided into separate 'Divisions'. Each division of 12 conducts their own draft. The highest scoring team across all divisions is crowned the 2011 FFPC Pros vs Joes Champion.

The overall winner  was Roger Gonzalez - "Sideline Sage" with a total score of 2766.00. Roger was the overall top scorer out of 84 players made up of industry experts and players of the FFPC (Fantasy Football Players Championship).
Roger narrowly edged out Lance Turbes - "PROWLERS PVJ" who finished just 1.15 points behind with 2765.85 points.
Across the seven leagues, the Joe's dominated the competition, winning 6 of the 7 league titles.
Here are your individual league winners:
League 1 - Newsome's Sunday Night Gruesome
Dave Terpoilli - "Chris Lambert Fan Club" - 2730.75
League 2 - Casper's Ghost Hunters
Sam Hendricks - "FFGuidebook.com" - 2725.25
League 3 - Mackey's Monday Maulers
Bob DeKenipp - "Lexus" - 2635.50
League 4 - Shannon's Sharpeshooters
Lance Turbes - "PROWLERS PVJ" - 2765.85

Darryl Bommer - "Number Crunchers" - 2747.65
League 6 - The Original Big Ben and His Bad Men
Rich Dunn - "Team Az Rich" - 2654.35
League 7 - Winslow's 63.9ers
Roger Gonzalez - "Sideline Sage" - 2766.00
A complete rundown of all the prizes won by all the competitors is listed HERE.
Want to be on the list for consideration in 2012 for this competition?
To qualify as a Joe, you have to clear 2 hurdles. First, you must be registered for any paid event in 2012 at theFFPC. Secondly, you'll need to register for the event itself when that opens up, but spots are limited, and a drawing is held to randomly select participants. The drafts are held in late July and the format is draft and forget or draft masters.
