Anyone ever heard of suicide fantasy football? i would like some feedback from people who have played.
I have played in several over the years (mainly as extra contests for events like the World Champioship of FF and as a subscriber only contest for BFD). I like them. Suicide FF is challenging and allows different strategies (go studs early or save them for stretch run). But I admit to priding myself on draft skills and a great ability to spot sleeper free agents. These "skills" are mitigated somewhat by a suicide FF League since there is no draft or free agent aquistion budget. On the other hand, season ending injuries can be less of a factor too, which is always a good thing to eliminate.
Sorry for those reading these comments and not knowing what a suicide FF league is...It is a league with unlimited number of teams where you pick your starting lineup each week from all players available, but once used a player is no longer available for the year. So once you play Tom Brady, he can never start for you again that season. But players who have great matchups can be strategically used.
