Ask the Expert Question: Which rookie or unheralded player will we all be talking about a week from now, and why.

At this time next week, there will no doubt be one rookie or previously unheralded player who sends shockwaves across the NFL because of his Week 1 performance. Anquan Boldin and Cam Newton leap to mind as guys who the vast majority of us simply didn't see coming. Make your prediction/guess as to who the rookie or unheralded player is that we'll all be talking about a week from now, and why.

Alshon Jeffery, CHI WR. He is clearly the #2 WR in Chicago behind Brandon Marshall, but Julio Jones has made a living out of the WR2 position so why not Jeffery. Marshall is sure to face double teams often and this presents a great opportunity for the talented Jeffery. He faces little competition from Devin Hester and Earl Bennett who have had their time with Cutler but not shown anything. Alshon is an agile WR with plenty of upside that few are talking about.
