Do not get me wrong. I love NFL football and the fantasy football that goes with it, but too much of a good thing is bad for you. I love chocolate but I do not eat it every day or I would weight over 300 pounds. Moderation is the key with great but addictive things and football on almost every night falls into that category in my opinion. I love Sunday football and Sunday night football. I cannot wait until Sunday arrives. And the Saturday teaser I get from the NCAA when the University of Virginia plays or some great match up of top 10 schools occurs (granted these are mutually exclusive events-sorry Wahoo's) just whets my appetite for Sunday. And then there is the traditional Monday Night Football. But Thursday night too??? I feel like I do not see my family from Thursday after work until Tuesday after work. Ok sure there is Friday night but I do have all those free agent transactions to propose right. I am sure I am in the minority and expect to take some heat on the emails from this bold statement. But I liked it better when there were 5 days between NFL contests for most of the season and then when it got really dark outside earlier in the day the NFL gave us TNF.
