Time to put on my fantasy football drafts/leagues so far this season on paper and see what the count is starting to look like.
I mention this in Fantasy Football Tips (2nd Edition): 230 Way to Win Through Player Rankings and Better Drafting but there is a disease called TMTS (Too Many Teams Syndrome). It occurs when you have so many teams that the work to do waiver wires and set line ups weighs you down too much. Often a symptom of TMTS is when you have a player on your team who you are rooting for and he also is on your opponents team against you. You end up hoping Matt Forte scores just 18.4 fantasy points because that is the only way both of your teams will win.
The threshold for TMTS is different for different individuals. Some have a higher tolerance. I have found that 12 is my maximum and I am better adjusted to my family and co-workers if I play in around 10 leagues.
Here is my line up of drafts so far.
Note Leagues with an asterisk * are drafts only-no league play required
Leagues with a + sign or draft masters so no in season work required.
