NFL News-Chris "Beanie Wells injured; D. Mason back with BAL

Chris "Beanie" Wells the AZ rookie RB who just signed with the team, rolled his ankle in his first practice. According to reports he left the field on a cart. That is never a good sign in my opinion, although he was smiling. His smile no doubt came from the fact that the ink was dry on his new contract. This is something to watch but do not overreact, wait and lets get more facts before you start trading for Tim Hightower. Hightower may have started as the RB1 in any case; but this bodes well for him and not Wells due to Beanie probably missing some PT.

Derrick Mason ended his "retirement" (I know how that feels) and returned to the Baltimore Ravens. I drafted him in the Fantasy Index Magazines Expert Auction which is a Draft Masters (best ball) format. of course this draft was in mid May before he retired. I was not looking forward to his goose egg on my bench the entire season (no FA moves in DM format).

And as a bonus Tarvaris Jackson (competiting with Sage Rosenfels for Min QB1) apparently hurt his knee in practice. Rumors are that it is a MCL. Does anyone else see this is as another chance for Brett Favre to change his mind and come back to save the Vikings? Oh my.
