Bill D’Allesandro is the winner of the Wide Receivers section of the Fantasy Index Open. He made a handful of bold picks to elevate himself above the rest of the entries.
Most went with Calvin Johnson as the No. 1 receiver, D’Allesandro, from Huntington, N.Y., wisely slotted him behind Demaryius Thomas and Dez Bryant. He also benefitted from having the vision to not include Victor Cruz at all. Cruz, of course, got hurt, significantly damaging the draft boards of a lot of entries.
