Ask the Expert Question: In a playoff fantasy league, assuming one draft for the entire postseason, who should be the first player selected, and why?

In a playoff fantasy league, assuming one draft for the entire postseason, who should be the first player selected, and why?

Great question! I play in several of these NFL playoff leagues each year and they are the perfect way to extend fantasy football through the NFL Super Bowl. But my answer depends on the format. How many starters from each position play, what is the scoring format (PPR, TD-only, etc) and are there any other rule twists. For example, one league has the Super Bowl count for double points (so 2 PPR and 12 points for rushing/receiving TDs). Everything needs to be considered. Another factor is how many games will that player play in realistically. I think GB has the best chance of any of the eight teams playing this week to advance to the SB. Therefore, Aaron Rodgers is my first choice and especially if in a league that doubles SB points or allows 6 points per TD pass.
