The WR position is gaining ground on the RB in terms of top 15-20 production. The move to a pass happy offense by most NFL teams produces WRs who score more fantasy points than the same ranked RB. Only 9 RBs averaged 15 or more fantasy points in 2012, as opposed to 16 WRs who did. In 2010 and 2011, only 10 WRs had those kinds of points. 41 WRs averaged 10 or more FP in 2012. Just 22 RBs did in 2012. Wide receivers will be drafted sooner and more often in the early rounds of 2013. Grab a stud RB and then two top WRs early.
