Fantasy Football Tip #232 Use Your Playoff Bye Wisely

Often in the fantasy football playoffs the top seed(s) get a first round bye and automatically advance to the playoff round the following week. If this is the case with your team, use that bye week wisely. Just because you have an auto win does not mean you should sit idly by while the other teams scramble to play you later. Instead look ahead to the following weeks matchups and try and determine which FF players could have a breakout versus an easy defense. Plan for such contingencies. Even if you do not need to have that player start for you, having him on your bench prevents the other team from adding him next week and using him against you. Plan ahead and block opponents from getting upside potential players by adding them while you drink a cool beverage and automatically advance to the FF playoffs.
